Manager, North Africa and the Middle East
Mr. Ouadi engages in international development consulting,
focusing on trade-related technical assistance to foster economic
growth and ultimately poverty reduction. He was a team member of the
2003 Integrated Framework evaluation. As Project Manager - Researcher
(2001-2003), School of Management, University of Ottawa, he evaluated
expansion opportunities, globalization related threats and
socio-cultural constraints for companies participating in the North
American Mobility Program and utilized social research techniques (such
as surveying) to conduct research on the extent of use of Information
Technology in the automotive industry in Mexico, Europe and North
America.

He obtained his direct international consulting experience in: Djibouti, Ethiopia, Madagascar, Mexico, Morocco, Spain and Yemen.

Key Results Achieved:
- Recommendations from the Integrated Framework evaluation, where he was a Private Sector Development Specialist, are being applied to new Least Developed Countries (LDCs). (2003).
- As key participant, organized the Telematics / B2B workshop for the Automotive Industry under the Car Internet Research Program – Canada, 2003, which attracted participants from Europe, Asia and North America, and which resulted in an improved market access strategy for penetrating the North American market.
- As Sales Director for Regafim s. a., Morocco, he helped the company to increase its regional market share from 15 to 45% within 3 years. (1997-2001).
- In company training: As Territory Manager for Sebal s. a. r. l., Morocco, he successfully trained the personnel and provided learning programmes for all functions and levels in the enterprise: Sales, HR, Quality. (1995-1997).
- He provided recommendations for the Moroccan government export programs, which helped Moroccan farmers to significantly improve their export market share in Europe- SASMA- Morocco, (1992-1995).
